The Trip

Author's Note: I am writing this story to tell about how much fun I had traveling.

When I was in seventh grade at the beginning of the school year, I went on a trip to Washington D.C. My mom said that she wanted to move there soon after me and my sister’s school year was over. But when we had a break at my old school my mom decided to travel to Washington D.C. First we had to pass through Illinois then Indiana and etc. It took the whole day to get there. The first reason was because we had taken some breaks to eat and do other things. Second was because we need to get some gas. Later in the day me and my sister fell asleep in the car. When I woke up I we were driving on a thin road in the woods. I asked my mom if there was any deer around. When my mom heard me say deer she freaked out. Then that’s when I figured out that she was only half listening to me. She said “DON’T SCARE ME LIKE THAT”. That is when I apologized. Later on when was almost to washing ton D.C. my mom told me that we were going to stop over at my aunt’ s house in new York. I was confused but then just forgot about it. When we got there we rested then when to Manhattan. When we got back home we slept a night then when to Washington D.C. When we got there we rested at a hotel and went to eat. It was the best trip ever! Finally the next day me my mom and my sister went home. I will never forget the trip me and my family took.

Zevion Flowers Why Death?

I read the lottery and the lottery did not seem like the usual lottery. In the story I found a good theme. That theme is luck. Luck is plays a major part. Everyone gets a card and if their lucky enough they will survive. But if someone gets a black dot they get stoned to death.

                                                      

The theme luck pretty much I summed up the whole book. Everyone had wished so badly that they hadn’t got the black dot. In the book I had noted that one of the victims friends of family got the biggest stone to throw. I think it was because they wanted to get the pain over with or didn’t want the victim to feel all those rock be thrown at her.

Author’s Note: I am writing this essay to explain the different viruses there are and what they can do etc.

Have you ever wondered what kinds of viruses there could be? Or the things viruses can do to you? There are many kinds of viruses all over the place where you could catch a virus. And thus I’m not just talking about the common cold. I am going to show three examples of viruses that you should know about.

First is the Ebola virus.  The Ebola virus was known to come from the Democratic Republic Congo. This virus is not helpful for humans. The Ebola virus is fatal to humans and primates. (Emiliani)

Next is polio. Polio is a virus that has a cure, or vaccine. But this virus can affect the nervous system. It can also affect people of any age. This virus is not helpful in any way, and it is very fatal. (Baumgartner)

Last is the hanta fever. The hanta fever can be found from deer mice. They are located in the western United States. Deer mice can cause people to get the virus from their droppings, urine, or saliva. (Emiliani)

The examples I showed you are examples of very dangerous viruses. Some viruses can’t be cured. These examples should remind you to be careful of your surroundings.       

It is very fatal.

Spring Entertainment

                                               

Author’s Note: I am writing this essay to tell what my summer was like.

Do you like just staying at home and relaxing? Or do you just like watching TV on break? Because that is exactly what I did on my spring break. Watching TV all spring break can just be something you can just do and sit back and relax. I watch TV all the time.

I love watching movies like “the Green Lantern.”Green Lantern is one of the best movies I’ve seen. I also love how he is able to use a ring. The reason I think the ring is cool is because you can make any equipment from your mind. Personally I think if you can make anything you want just by thinking about it that let you do also anything, I would think it’s pretty cool.

Out of all the superheroes in comics I think the Green Lantern would be the best one.  I even saw a show about the Green Lantern on a TV network called “Cartoon Network.”  The Green Lantern is an “animated” series that just came out a little while ago.  As I started watching the show I started to get more and more in to it.  Since time since each new episode came out I tried the best I can to see every episode.

Finally when I couldn’t see the Green Lantern when I wanted, I found on demand. When I searched on demand I found Cartoon Network on demand. I searched through it and found the Green Lantern. I started watching all of them. After I was finish I got upset because there wasn’t any show that was added.

My spring break was pretty entertaining for me. A whole ten days of Green Lantern enjoyment. I’ll admit that I’m more of TV guy than a outside guy. But It doesn’t bother me. No matter what I still enjoyed My Break.

 Author’s Note: I am writing this essay to explain my prediction for this piece.

Have you ever wondered how the end of the book Naruto ended? I have a prediction. My prediction is that Naruto will beat Deidara. I have very good reasons for this. Naruto has come very far to rescue his friend Gaara. And I am confident that he beat him because he will never give up.

But first of all I’m not just confident that Naruto will win. I think that Naruto is physically

able. He has trained hard to become what he is and has gotten stronger by beating his

enemies. Naruto also contains a very powerful creature in his body. Also he is very

persistent.

Second of all, Naruto has beaten the Akasuki before. One time Naruto was being

hunted down by a member of the organization before.  Two men named Itachi and

Kisame hunted him down like he was an animal. But then they lost to Naruto and

retreated. Naruto also tried save his friend Sasuke who was being tortured by his older

brother in the Akasuki before they retreated.

Finally my last reason for believing that Naruto will beat the Akasuki is because he has

his friends to help. Naruto‘s friends has been there for him always. They never give up

on Naruto . They always try their best. And they always train hard to win.

In conclusion, there are many reasons why it is obvious that Naruto will beat Deidara.  Beyond what was stated above, Naruto is a lot like Agent Six, the protagonist in The Lab. In this story, Agent Six succeeded in rescuing the prisoners. Since these characters are so much alike, it seems clear that this will be what happens with Naruto in Naruto.

Author note: I am writing response to explain about the poem

I think that the mood of both of the poems are frustrated because, the author realizes what they missed. The mood is also in depression because it feels like everything thing is grey. They feel there is no joy around. There is no nature around just the plain city. The mood would also be angry because someone is gone and they miss that person.

The purpose was to tell that you do not know what you have until it’s gone.

The tone is sad, angry, and depressed. In the poems the music and/or lyrics and is a little different, but does have the same words from the poem. The poem shows us the same thing as the purpose. The poem makes me feels a little bad for someone because that person is missing someone.
